Quiet frankly, i was shocked. Jon Martin's answer was selected 70 out of 75 times, and I initially just thought Cannon picked his because we had quiet a chuckle over his answer.
It's like the old saying " A bulldog can whip a skunk, but sometimes it's not worth it". Or whatever. John e-mail us.

Problem solved.
Thanks for the facebook and emails in regards to the cat issue I had yesterday. What happened late last night was i was about to announce Sharon winner, but Cannon strongly disagreed and told me the only way to know for sure was to hit the streets. So we did. At approx 11.37pm last night, with my clipboard, I spoke to 75 cats. I assumed Sharon's answer would win, now some cats were helpful and took my question seriously, others, used my chat as an excuse to get pats from me. Thanks for nothing to those loser cats.
The question: Whose answer do you agree with?
SHARON RUSBATCH: "Cats tongues are coated with sharp recurved projections called papillae that aid drinking......"
OR
JON MARTIN: "Cats do that because they like to drink on the go. Using their tongues to drink reduces the amount of milk in their mouth but they do it fast so they get a sufficient milk intake so if a dog happened to come around the corner that cat can make a quick get away with out choking on a mouthfull of milk. That's the real reason. I've seen it happen.... you try running away from a beast with a mouthfull of milk just after getting a shock"

My cat today
Okay Cannon my cat (black cat on bottom of pic) had a big night last night, he stayed out all night and when he came in he was all tired and hungry, etc. Anyway i noticed when he was drinking his water that his little cat tongue was going in and out of the water, this was his way to drink. I thought if it were me i'd slurp, you know!? Why do cats drink like that? It's not too productive, surely they can slurp???
But they don't! Anyway that kinda angered me and if you know why they do this let me know on our facebook page. I need an answer. Otherwise someone should re-educate cats to drink more productively.

Each player gets certain times to play, so you don't actually play the entire 24 hours! But your team does. So when you play, others rest, etc. There's 25 players per team!
DUNK COMP - Sat night @ 9pm we get to find out who has the baddest hops in chch. Be there.
3 POINT SHOOT- Players from event will try qualify for final on Friday night, final will be before dunk comp on Sat.
